Program Description

Services include outpatient treatment of many common disorders including mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality, substance use, developmental, and cognitive disorders. The practice includes 15 – 20 therapists, in addition to psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, providing therapy to thousands of patients of all ages including a large number of children and adolescents. The two main sites are in Flushing, Queens, and Sunset Park, Brooklyn serving two “Chinatown” communities. Dialects spoken by patients are largely Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujianese, and Taishanese though many patients also speak English. Extensive multidisciplinary supervision will be provided to maximize the learning experience.
